People: Dutch banking executive joins DNB board
Finnish central bank appoints new head, Danish member of governing board resigns
Netherlands: The Netherlands Bank (DNB) said Gita Salden, a banking executive and former civil servant, will join its executive board on June 1 for a seven-year term.
Finance minister Steven van Weyenberg appointed Salden, DNB announced on February 16. In her new role, she will be responsible for monitoring insurers and pension funds, as well as horizontal positions and integrity.
Salden’s appointment required an exception to the “Standards for Remuneration Act” (WNT), which caps the salaries of
