People: Skingsley to head BIS Innovation Hub
New deputy governor in Philippines; BIS names new Asia-Pacific rep; and more
Basel: The Bank for International Settlements announced today (June 7) that Cecilia Skingsley will head its Innovation Hub. Skingsley will begin a five-year term on September 14. As head of the Innovation Hub portfolio, she will also sit on the BIS executive committee.
Skingsley has been a deputy governor at the Riksbank since 2013. The Riksbank’s general council appointed her first deputy governor in late 2019. Prior to joining the Riksbank, she was chief of foreign exchange and fixed-income
