Norges Bank appoints new SWF chief

Nicolai Tangen will take the helm in early September

Norges Bank Investment Management appointed a new chief executive for Norway’s sovereign wealth fund, the Government Pension Fund Global, on March 26.

The central bank’s department in charge of the GPFG will be led by Nicolai Tangen, who will join the institution in early September 2020.
