Zimbabwean central bank officials cleared of wrongdoing
Governor Mangudya says investigation absolves of any wrongdoing
Four senior officials at the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe have been cleared of allegations of corruption and “illicit” currency dealings.
“The Bank and the law enforcement agents carried out investigations which on conclusion have revealed … [those accused] were not involved in the corrupt activities or any impropriety,” the central bank said in a statement.
