Kosovo: The board of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo appointed a new deputy governor on June 28.

Sokol Havolli joins the central bank after serving as adviser and chief of cabinet for the prime minister’s office between 2014 and 2017.

Havolli had previously served as senior economist at the central bank between 2007 and 2013. There he was involved in the preparation of economic analysis and the periodical publications of the institution. Between 2013 and 2014, he was the deputy
