Regional disparities wider among EU’s newer members – study
Research shows that the poorer the country, the bigger the gap between its capital and its regions
Although regional disparities are decreasing within the European Union’s established members, they are widening in countries that joined the bloc more recently, new research from the Czech National Bank shows.
