Draghi tells MEPs to focus on ‘thoroughly implementing’ agreed reforms
Mario Draghi called on MEPs to "seize the opportunity of a new parliament" to reform the Economic and Monetary Union (Emu) yesterday, as he reiterated in Brussels the case for "common governance" of structural reforms that he first made in a speech in London last week.
Addressing the newly elected Econ Committee for the first time, Draghi stressed that the focus in the next five years "should lie on thoroughly implementing the reinforced policy framework that was agreed in the last term", but
