Arab countries must build economies on participation, not privilege
Christine Lagarde, managing director of the International Monetary Fund, today called for the countries of the Arab world to build "more of a 'participatory' economy and less of a 'privilege' economy", built on improving governance, promoting the private sector, and creating jobs for young people.
