Trichet bids farewell to Skrzypek

Jean-Claude Trichet, the president of the European Central Bank, delivered a moving eulogy to Slawomir Skrzypek, the president of the National Bank of Poland, on Monday at the late president’s funeral in Warsaw.

During his speech, Trichet honoured Skrzypek for his achievements during his three-year tenure at the helm of the Polish central bank, where he was one of the youngest central bank governors in Europe.
