Shirakawa cites balance-sheet adjustment as key

Massaki Shirakawa, the governor of the Bank of Japan, has said that the issue of assessing the effects of balance sheet adjustments centring on the United States and Europe will rise in prominence over the coming months.

It was, Shirakawa noted in a 31 August speech in Osaka, an issue associated with high uncertainty.
