Fed's Kroszner on innovations in credit markets

In the speech 'Recent innovations in credit markets' given on 22 March Randall Kroszner of the Federal Reserve said fast-growing credit derivative markets have helped spread risks more widely but have not made them disappear.

"I want to emphasize that the fundamental risks in credit markets have not been changed by the new instruments that are now being traded," he told a conference on credit markets hosted by the Richmond Federal Reserve.
