Banque de France review offers regulatory preview

A new report by Banque de France holds valuable clues to how the post-crisis regulatory landscape will look.

The report, published last Friday, holds contributions from a number of officials with a key role to play in rewriting regulation.

Among them is Sheila Bair, the chair of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, who stresses the need for change in the supervision and resolution of institutions deemed either too big or two interconnected to fail.
