Ocampo proposes move to fully SDR-based IMF

The best option to reform the global reserve system is to create a fully Special-Drawing-Rights-based International Monetary Fund (IMF) with a clear counter-cyclical focus, says José Antonio Ocampo, an economist at Columbia University and former under-secretary-general for Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations, in a new paper.
