Education pays more in the US than Canada
Education has more impact on pay in the United States than in Canada, posits research from the Bank of Canada.
The research analyses the wage differences between university graduates and those with lower education and find that the wage premium is higher in the United States. The research suggests that this is due to lower level of capital equipment per hour worked by skilled workers in Canada compared to the United States.
