Portugal: components of exports shifting
The share of Portugal's exports of parts and components has more than doubled since the late 1980s, a new paper from the country's central bank states.
The research finds that the import share of parts and components has remained relatively stable. The results also indicate that Portugal is more of a destination for than an origin of processed products.
