BoJ research paper on corporate earnings

A Bank of Japan research paper notes that corporate earnings have been greatly increasing in Japan over the last three years as business conditions continue to recover.

However, given the problems facing the Japanese economy - a declining fertility rate, the aging of society and the fiscal deficit - it would be desirable to strengthen the earnings power and growth potential of Japanese enterprises further.
