BoE data shows moderate rise in UK lending
Loans extended to individuals in the UK continued to grow at a moderate pace in November, according to data published by the Bank of England on Wednesday.
Total lending to individuals rose by £1 billion ($1.56 billion) in November, in line with the previous six-month average. The 12-month growth rate was unchanged at 0.9%.
Within total lending, lending secured on dwellings rose by £600 million, less than the previous six-month average of £700 million, and well below pre-crisis levels.
