Bank of Finland reforms research unit
The Bank of Finland's research newsletter published on Thursday named four new economists as part of reforms to the central bank's research department.
The central bank said Maritta Paloviita, Markus Haavio, Karlo Kauko and Juuso Vanhala had joined three former research supervisors as part of a new research unit established at the Bank of Finland.
The decision follows recommendations in a December 2009 report that found the internal visitors' research programme, which required experienced staff
