Recovery in French industry and services
The French central bank's survey of industry and services for December points to a small improvement in activity in coming months.
Industrial activity looked "stable" overall in December, the central bank said, with the agri-food and consumer goods industries offsetting the slight fall in other large sectors.
Order books moved further towards normal levels, but were still deemed insufficient, the central bank said in the survey released on 12 January.
