Central Bank of Solomon Islands – Annual Report 2008

Solomon Islands' economy is estimated to grow by 1% in 2009 and remain low in the next three years, notes the central bank in its latest Annual Report.

The report also notes that consumers should change their consumption behaviour by switching to locally produced goods, and says that international donors should bring forward their committed funds for development projects.

The report also says that the central bank's key monetary policy objectives for 2009 are price stability and adequate level
