Nepal Rastra Bank - Annual Report 2005-2006
Nepal's real GDP grew by 2.3 % in the 2005 to 2006 period.
Agricultural production showed a lower growth of 1.7 % due to a slowdown in the production of principal food grains. The growth of the non-agricultural sector rose to 2.8 % in 2005/06, slightly higher than the 2.1 % growth increase in 2004/05.
