ECB Monthly Bulletin, October 2006

The European Central Bank published its October 2006 Monthly Bulletin on Thursday 12 October. In the report the ECB said eurozone consumer spending is likely to make an increasing contribution to GDP growth in the coming quarters.

"Consumption is foreseen to become more dynamic in the coming quarters in line with improvements in real disposable income, as the labour market situation improves further," the ECB said in its October monthly bulletin.
