Botswana - Annual Report 2007

Financial services and public access to banking services significantly improved last year, said Linah Mohohlo, the governor of the Bank of Botswana, in the latest annual report.

The governor noted that the finance industry expanded in terms of new market entries, additional branches, new ATMs and diversification of products. The central bank expects new entrants as new mining projects get underway.
