Deutsche Bundesbank Monthly Report, February 2007

The Deutsche Bundesbank published the English version of its February 2007 Monthly Report on Tuesday 27 March. The report said German economic growth may soon pick up steam again after a slight and temporary disruption caused by government fiscal measures implemented at the start of the year.

It said if the government continues its fiscal and economic reforms and if wage increases remain moderate, a strong economic recovery is sustainable in the longer term.

It said in the current year, the state
