Sveriges Riksbank Inflation Report, No. 3, 2005

Sweden's central bank, the Sveriges Riksbank, has published its Third Inflation Report for 2005. Most indications are now that the slowdown in growth at the beginning of the year was temporary both in Sweden and abroad, the report said.

A future strengthening of economic activity is implied by the expansionary economic policy conducted. Factors giving cause for concern are the high oil price and global imbalances. Infl ation in Sweden is low, which can be explained by favourable supply conditions
