Bank of Japan Monthly Report, April 2007

The Bank of Japan published the English version of its April 2007 monthly report on Thursday 12 April. In the report the BOJ left its assessment of economic and financial developments unchanged in April, saying the economy will continue to expand moderately while deflationary pressures ease despite tame inflation.

'Japan's economy is expanding moderately,' the BoJ said in the monthly report, repeating exactly what it said in March.
