BoE launches year-long artist collaboration
Martin John Callanan to work with BoE for a year
The Bank of England (BoE) is turning to the 'visual arts' in an effort to bring its message to a wider audience, launching a year-long collaboration with artist Martin John Callanan today (July 8).
Callanan, a fellow at University College London's (UCL) Slade School of Fine Art, will work with BoE economists and other academics to produce work that reflects central banking, economics, finance and data.
