Minneapolis Fed begins hunt for next president
Narayana Kocherlakota will join the University of Rochester on January 1
The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis has begun hunting for a new president, with incumbent Narayana Kocherlakota leaving to accept a professorship at the University of Rochester on January 1.
Kocherlakota previously announced his intention to step down at the end of his term on February 29, but yesterday (June 8) revealed he will return to academia at the beginning of 2016.
