HKMA names Huo as new PBoC advisor
The Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA) says Huo Yingli joined the central bank and prudential regulator today (August 22) as a senior adviser on secondment from the People's Bank of China (PBoC).
Huo was deputy director-general of the PBoC's financial market department with the PBoC prior to her secondment to the HKMA. She takes over the role from Mu Huaipeng and will provide assistance in the areas of financial co-operation between Hong Kong and mainland China, expansion of the renminbi
