Exclusive: Ex-Kosovo governor recalls ‘surprise’ arrest
Hashim Rexhepi, former governor of the Central Bank of the Republic of Kosovo, has revealed details of his arrest and incarceration by enforcement authorities in July 23, 2010 related to corruption charges; accusations that have now been dropped.
Speaking exclusively to CentralBanking on January 20, Rexhepi explained how he was handcuffed by a group of police officers at his house in Pristina and escorted to the central bank, where authorities carried out a search of his office. He said he was
