Central Bank of West African States names new head
The Central Bank of West African States on Monday named former Ivorian minister Kone Tiemoko Meyliet as its new governor, in charge of monetary policy in the eight-country single currency area.
"Meyliet was the minister for construction and urbanisation in former Ivory Coast president Laurent Gbagbo's power-sharing government with prime minister Guillaume Soro.
