Academics embark on €1.8m project to predict crises
Academics from across Europe will work together on a European Union (EU)-funded project to better forecast global financial activity.
The Forecasting Financial Crises Project, supported by a €1.8m ($2.5m) grant from the EU, will see economists, computer scientists and physicists look to develop a system to enable policymakers to better forecast and mitigate global financial risk.
