CentralBanking.com readers divided on recovery

The results of a CentralBanking.com poll on when growth will return to trend levels underline the extent of the uncertainty surrounding the strength of the economic recovery.

The survey, live on the CentralBanking.com site for the past two months, was notable for the mixed reactions it drew.

Fifteen percent of voters expected growth to return to trend levels within a year, 31% within 18 months, 30% within two years and 24% believe it will not for the foreseeable future.
