Bundesbank names new Berlin branch chief
Claus Tigges, a journalist, was on Wednesday appointed the new head of the Bundesbank's Berlin branch.
Tigges will take the role on 1 January 2010. He is replacing Norbert Matysik, who became the head of the Düsseldorf branch in April.
Tigges, 41, now works as an economic correspondent for the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, a German daily newspaper, in Washington covering the United States and Canada. He joined the newspaper in 1999 and has covered financial markets as well monetary and
