Lewis named as Richmond Fed deputy chair
Lemuel E. Lewis will succeed Theresa M. Stone effective immediately. Stone recently left the post to take a job as executive vice president and treasurer of Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Lewis, a director of Norfolk, Va.-based Landmark Communications Inc., has served on the Richmond Federal Reserve board since 2005.
