Trichet renews call for eurozone reforms

Jean-Claude Trichet, president of the European Central Bank, urged eurozone governments to speed up structural reforms of their labour markets and welfare systems, telling a conference in Davos on Saturday that it was the best way to ensure economic growth.

"We have to elevate the level of our growth potential through structural reforms. There is an agreement on that, there is a consensus in Europe, and the problem is delivery, obviously," Trichet said during a conference on the global economic
