BOK report sees China dominant economy by 2040

China will become the world's largest economy in terms of GDP by 2040, and India will closely follow its heels, according to a soon to be released report from the Bank of Korea.

The report was previewed in a speech by BOK governor, Park Seung, China will overtake Japan by 2020 and be on par with the United States by approximately 2040.

According to Park, China and India will lead Asia to become the locomotive of world growth in the 21st century.
