Bank of France sees rebound in Q4

The French economy will bounce back in the last three months of 2006 after stalling in the third quarter, according to a Bank of France survey released on Wednesday 13 December.

The central bank said its monthly index of business activity was pointing to quarterly growth of 0.6 percent in the final quarter of this year, giving full year growth of 2 percent.

"The outlook for activity over the coming months remains positive across the board," it said, adding that its November business sentiment
