BoE names former economist as communications head
Scott worked at the Bank between 1992 and 1994 as an economist in the international division.
She left the Bank to join Reuters, a news agency, where she reported mainly on economic issues and now presents the Daily Politics show on BBC2.
Scott will replace Peter Rodgers, who retires in the summer after a five-year stint.
