Fukui and Greenspan to meet in Tokyo

Bank of Japan Governor Toshihiko Fukui will hold talks with U.S. Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan on 17 October at the BOJ's head office in Tokyo, officials said.

Fukui and Greenspan, who is scheduled to visit Japan in mid-October, are expected to discuss their views on the economic situations and monetary policies of the two countries during the meeting, Bank of Japan officials said.
