China's Zhou not worried on current inflation

China's central bank is not worried about the current level of consumer price inflation, People's Bank of China governor Zhou Xiaochuan was quoted as saying in a report by the official Xinhua News Agency on Wednesday 21 March.

He also said that the growth seen in the consumer price index does not point to rising inflation in the medium-term.

"We worry about the trend of inflation but not the current level of inflation," Zhou was quoted as saying in comments made at the Inter-American Development
