Chile's Corbo sees inflation at low end of range

Chilean central bank President Vittorio Corbo told reporters Wednesday 21 March he sees inflation at the low end of the central bank's target range in the coming months as economic growth "gradually" rebounds.

The annual inflation rate will remain near 2 percent in the months ahead and will rise to 3 percent in 2008, Corbo said in Santiago.

``After a brief slowdown last year the economy should return to above-trend growth in the coming quarters,'' he said. ``Inflation will be below current levels
