Report says yuan rise not guaranteed
Wu said that she could not say whether the yuan exchange rate should appreciate or depreciate, given uncertainties in the Chinese economy, according to an official Xinhua news agency report.
But the exchange rate would 'increasingly reflect market forces', she told a business forum in the Chinese city of Lanzhou.
