Inflationary pressures building - Fund
Speaking in Frankfurt yesterday, Johnson said that global growth had been stronger than the Fund expected in April and that its forecast for world economic growth this year would be raised. He did, however, not give a new figure - in April the IMF predicted global growth of 4.9% this year and next, following 5.4% in 2006.
