Dallas Fed names Issing for globalisation study

The Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas has said Otmar Issing will advise its new think tank on the impact of globalisation on the international economy.

Dallas Fed President Richard Fisher said that former European Central Bank chief economist Otmar Issing and Bank of England chief economist Charles Bean had both agreed to sit on its advisory board.

They will be joined by Columbia Business School Dean Glenn Hubbard, former IMF chief economist Kenneth Rogoff, Harvard University's Martin Feldstein, 2004
