SWF task force touches down in Middle East

A task force of the United States Congress, charged with gaining more insight into sovereign wealth funds, has touched down in the Middle East and is visiting a number of the region's funds.

Congress has grown increasingly weary of investments made by the growing pools of government-owned sovereign wealth funds in American companies. In addition to scheduling a number of hearings, Congress appointed a special Congressional Task Force on Sovereign Wealth Funds to gain more information on these
