BoE collaborates with NY regulator on crypto supervision

Senior staff to exchange expertise in digital payments and distributed ledger technology

The Bank of England (BoE) and the New York Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) are to exchange senior staff and expertise as part of a new crypto regulatory partnership.

The NYDFS’s Transatlantic Regulatory Exchange was launched on January 13. The programme will involve exchanging staff and ideas with other regulatory bodies.
