Three MPC members call for Glapiński to account for prediction of large NBP surplus
The Polish central bank’s monetary policy committee has effectively split over government plans has announced plans to bring its governor before a constitutional court.
Prime minister Donald Tusk said on March 19 that the government’s plan to bring National Bank of Poland (NBP) governor Adam Glapiński before the State Tribunal was “prepared and ready”. The State Tribunal judges the conduct of the highest public officials.
