IMF climate dashboard reveals pattern of vulnerabilities

Data ranges from frequency of natural disasters to carbon intensity of lending

The International Monetary Fund has launched an interactive dashboard of climate change data, to address a “growing need” for information to support policy decisions.

The data reveals how some countries are better prepared than others and shows the growing frequency of natural disasters and extreme weather.

The dashboard brings together “experimental” climate change indicators across four main categories: economic activity; cross-border; financial, physical and transition risks; and government
