Singaporean government names new SWF head
Chief of Temasek’s investment arm to take top role as Ho prepares to end nearly 18 years in charge
Singapore’s government announced that the chief of its sovereign wealth fund Temasek will be replaced in October.
Dilhan Pillay Sandrasegara has been appointed as executive director and chief executive of the state-owned fund Temasek with effect from October 1, 2021. Pillay will succeed Ho Ching, who first took up the role in January 2004.
Temasek now manages a portfolio of over S$300 billion ($226 billion). The fund does not provide a full breakdown of its capital allocations.
